The Process
The first step is to send us your gold for assessment. Please complete the form, below, and we’ll send a prepaid envelope. We will notify you of your gold’s safe arrival.
Upon assessment we’ll be in touch with a final cost. We will neither melt down nor damage your gold during the assessment.
Provided the above is agreeable, your signet ring will now be cast and finished.
Next, your ring will go to Assay for hallmarking and, finally, onto the engraver for hand engraving.

What happens if more gold is required?
We will ascertain how much additional gold is required and provide you with a final cost, soonest.
What happens if I have provided more than enough gold?
We will either return the surplus to to you or reduce the scrap value from the final cost. This is your call.
Can Ruffs help with the design for engraving?
Yes. Absolutely. Please let us know what you have in mind, whether it be initials or a crest-like device, and we will be able to help.
What happens if my ring needs re-sizing?
